EON Crush

Important Safety Information for Sildenafil

FDA-Approved Use of Sildenafil:

Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor prescribed for erectile dysfunction (ED). Your EON Medical provider may recommend EON Crush, a compounded drug containing both sildenafil and tadalafil, for ED treatment.

Who Should Not Use Sildenafil?

Avoid sildenafil if:

- You're taking nitric oxide donors like isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, or nitroglycerine, as combining them with sildenafil can lead to dangerously low blood pressure.

- You have a known allergy to sildenafil.

- You're using soluble guanylate cyclase (GC) stimulators such as riociguat, as this combination can also cause low blood pressure.

How to Take EON Crush:

Place the lozenge under your tongue and let it dissolve at least 15 minutes before sexual activity. Do not chew the medication. You can bite it in two for faster melting but avoid eating or drinking anything until the lozenge fully dissolves. Do not exceed one dose in a 24-hour period or mix with other ED medications.

What to Tell Your EON Medical Provider:

Inform your provider about all medications you're taking, including prescription, over-the-counter drugs, and supplements. Mention any medical conditions, especially cardiovascular issues, priapism, or kidney/liver diseases.

Serious Side Effects to Monitor:

- Cardiovascular risks associated with sexual activity.

- Prolonged erections lasting more than 4 hours.

- Effects on vision or sudden hearing loss.

- Potential interactions with alpha-blockers, blood pressure-lowering drugs, or ritonavir.

- Effects on bleeding, especially with a history of bleeding disorders or ulcers.

- Alcohol consumption exceeding five units may lead to a sudden drop in blood pressure.

Most Common Side Effects:

Headache, flushing, indigestion, abnormal vision, nasal congestion, back/muscle pain, nausea, dizziness, and rash.

Important Safety Information for Tadalafil

FDA-Approved Use of Tadalafil:

Tadalafil, also a PDE5 inhibitor, is prescribed for ED. Your EON Medical provider may suggest EON Crush, a compounded drug containing both sildenafil and tadalafil, for ED treatment.

Who Should Not Use Tadalafil?

Avoid tadalafil if:

- You're taking nitric oxide donors, allergic to tadalafil, or using GC stimulators like riociguat.

How to Take EON Crush:

Administer the lozenge under your tongue at least 15 minutes before sexual activity. Avoid eating/drinking while it dissolves. Follow dosage instructions carefully and avoid exceeding one dose in a 24-hour period.

What to Tell Your EON Medical Provider:

Discuss all current medications and medical history, especially cardiovascular, kidney/liver issues, or bleeding disorders.

Serious Side Effects to Monitor:

Similar to sildenafil, including cardiovascular risks, prolonged erections, effects on vision/hearing, interactions with medications, and potential bleeding effects.

Most Common Side Effects:

Headache, dizziness, indigestion, back/muscle pain, nasal congestion, flushing, and limb pain.
